Pak migrated to Hong Kong in 1984, at the age of seven. He studied fine arts and theology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and graduated in 2002. Together with four other classmates, he set up the 2nd Floor 5 Sons Studio in Fotan. In 2003, he started contributing art for the local Mingpao Daily newspaper, and from 2004 to 2006 he was a regular art columnist for the paper’s Sunday edition. He has written three books, See Walk What on 1 July and Odd One In: Hong Kong Diary, both published in 2005, and Odd One In II: Invisible Travel, published in 2009.
