Active during the first half of the 3rd century BC.

Sculptor.

Ancient Greek.

Ariston worked on a bronze statue, an ex-voto from Timotheus son of Euphanes, in collaboration with Agathon of Ephesus. His signature was found on the Acropolis at Lindus (datable to c. 270 BC). Two other signatures of Ariston of Chios have been found at Camirus (c. 260 BC)....
