Paul Coldwell completed foundation studies at Canterbury College of Art in 1972, before studying fine art at Bristol Polytechnic (1972–1975) and printmaking at the Slade School of Art. He was head of printmaking at the Byam Shaw School of Art, then Camberwell College of Art and Crafts, before becoming Professor at Chelsea College of Art & Design....
