Zelisko, Vendelin erroneously known as Wenzellocked


Austrian, 19th century, male.

Born 1802, in Gradlitz (now Choustnikovo Hradist, Czech Republic).

Engraver (burin).

Vendelin Zelisko was a pupil at the academy in Prague. He engraved 13 images of the Passion of Christ after Führich, and numerous illustrations for artworks in his time.
