Japanese, 20th century, male.

Born 1936, in Mie Prefecture.


Yashima Masaaki paints Abstracts with Sur­realist tendencies. In 1961 he exhibited his work at the Bijutsu Bunka Salon and in 1967 he won the Shell Prize in Tokyo. He has had several solo exhibitions.
