Sculptor, draughtswoman.

Vassiliki Tsekoura has lived and worked in Paris since 1977. She produced a work for the Philibert Delorme high school in L'Isle d'Abeau near Grenoble.

She prefers the term 'construction' to 'sculpture' for her dynamic works, which have a strong cosmic feeling, composed of tubes and fine steel plate. She also produces black, blue or red Indian ink drawings that deal brilliantly with volume and flat tint. Basing her work on the line and idea of perspective, her sculptures seem to appear suddenly from the very whirls of the drawing, unless it is the reverse, as though to deceive our perception of space....
