Painter, watercolourist, engraver, lithographer. Scenes with figures, mythological subjects, landscapes.

Symbolism.

Sydney Long spent his childhood in New South Wales before settling in Sydney, where he studied under A.J. Daplyn and Julian Ashton at the Art Society of New South Wales school.
