Born 18 March 1869, in Besançon; died 17 January 1936, in Paris.

Painter, draughtsman. Figures, church interiors, landscapes, waterscapes, harbour scenes, seascapes, architectural views, still-lifes, animals, flowers.

Paul Krön exhibited humorous drawings as a child in a gift shop in Marseilles. He was spotted by Monticelli, who advised him to learn from nature rather than follow formal training. He has been described as one of those artists who combined Fauvism with Impressionism....
