This month, Grove Art publishes 1 new and 255 revised articles, as well as 4 emendations as part of our regular corrections process. This trove of newly updated material comes from Grove’s ongoing project on Latin American art, spanning thousands of articles across the dictionary. The editors want to thank the hundreds of scholars who have shared their time and knowledge with this project. In particular, we appreciate the dedication researchers have shown in revising articles on lesser-known or infrequently studied artists, allowing Grove’s updated coverage of Latin American art to extend to these important figures who have less visibility in the field. In addition, Grove publishes a new biography of Alice Schille, a leading watercolorist in the first half of the 20th century.
