Benezit entries allow you to quickly grasp the basic facts of an artist’s career and assess his or her reputation.
All entries include essential biographical information, and many thousands are organized into sections, with lists of exhibitions, museum and gallery holdings, auction sale records, and bibliographies. Illustrated articles display artists’ signatures and stamps of sale under the heading and in an image tab. Three search options (simple, advanced, and search within article) help you locate what you need.
