Update Grove is a major, ongoing program the editors are embarking upon with our original contributors to reflect important recent scholarship, refresh articles, and guide the future of art history research.
In 2012, in response to feedback from scholars, we launched this program to provide regular content updating to all Grove Art Online articles. Since then, many Grove Art authors have joined the program to revise their articles—like George Bottini and Chicago, after World War II—but there is much still to do. In order to accomplish our goal of keeping all Grove articles as up-to-date as possible, we need your help.
Our editorial team is reaching out to Grove contributors for updates, corrections, image recommendations, and suggestions for scheduled revisions. If you are interested in updating your articles, we would love to talk to you.
If you would like to participate, please contact the editors by emailing UpdateGAO@oup.com. We are currently looking for updates from the original authors of our articles, but if you are looking to get involved, we are always open to feedback and corrections. Find out more about offering comments and corrections here.
We would like to offer our sincere gratitude for your contributions, past and future, to this landmark resource. Please let us know if you have any questions, concerns, or other feedback. We look forward to hearing from you and collaborating with you on this effort.
