Venezuelan graphic designer of Spanish birth. He moved to Venezuela in 1954, where he studied at the Escuela de Artes Plásticas, Caracas. In 1960 he went to Paris, where he continued his studies at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts. In 1965 he started working as a graphic designer. He developed a surrealistic style, influenced by the work of Magritte and Dalí, based on photography of previously modelled or built three-dimensional figures.
