Born c. 1494, in Imola; died c. 1550, in Bologna.

Painter. Religious subjects, allegorical subjects.

Bolognese School.

Francucci lived mainly in Bologna. In 1508, he joined the school run by Francesco Francia but, according to Malvasia, he then went off to work in Florence under Mariotto Albertinelli. According to Vasari, he died of a pestilential fever....
