Hiroshi Akana was a pupil of Inokuma Gen-Ichiro at the college of industrial arts in Tokyo. He began to exhibit in 1946 and took part in several Tokyo Biennales. He became a member of Shinseisa Ku, a group begun by his mentor. He became a teacher at the University of Chiba. He took American nationality....
