Born 23 February 1824, in Loviisa; died 15 July 1892, in Weimar, Germany.

Painter. Landscapes.

After studying in her native Finland, Ulrika Åberg became a teacher at a girls' school in Helsinki. Around 1865 she travelled in Germany and Italy and devoted herself to the study of landscape. She stayed mainly in Düsseldorf, Dresden and Weimar. Her works are for the most part views of Finland, Germany and Italy and are painted in the realist manner....
