Made up of Jeebesh Bagchi (born 1965, male), Monica Narula (born 1969, female), and Shuddhabrata Sengupta (born 1968, male), Raqs is a three-person collective whose works highlight the shift in India, in the early 21st century, towards a critical art practice. They use a wide range of media as their platform, including text, film, photography, installation, digital media, and performance.
