Italian, 16th – 17th century, male.

Born c. 1559, in Brescia, in 1574 according to some sources; died 27 September 1621, in Brescia.

Painter, fresco artist, mosaicist. Religious subjects, figures.

Francesco Zugno was a pupil of Palma the Younger; although less talented than the latter as a draughtsman, he surpassed Palma in his use of colour.
