Wang Panyuan studied at the art academy in Shanghai under the direction of Zhang Yuan and became a teacher in Taiwan in 1949. The originality of his landscapes emanates from the symbolic representation of spaces to which the artist wishes to pay tribute and which cover the whole canvas, and from the fragility of the human forms or familiar shapes set against these elements. He took part in exhibitions in China....
