Oganes Tatevosyan was director of the Vkhutemas ceramic studios in 1921, when the commemorative porcelain for the Third International was produced. He then moved to Tashkent, Uzbekistan, where he painted work that was considered formalist by Moscow standards. He later painted sumptuous still-lifes and a number of propaganda pieces....
