Nora Speyer trained at the Tyler College of Fine Art in Philadelphia. She settled in New York. She is the wife of the painter Sideo Frombolati. Speyer is most widely known for her works that question and challenge the role of women. In her exhibition of Dream Sequence [Dream Sequence] at the Galerie Speyer in Paris. Speyer portrays the bodies of women as if falling into the void of entangled bodies, an intriguing ballet of death, in rich and savoury, regularly-worked paint, with cool tonalities of greens and violets....
