Emmanuel Krouk graduated both from the school of fine arts in Lebanon and from the Faculté des Sciences in Paris. He studied mathematics and, at the same time, painting and sculpture.
His pictorial activity appears to consist, essentially, of the consideration of the status of painting, particularly modern painting, which is not a new idea, and to respond to this question with scorn, which is not a new idea either, but which is as adequate (or inadequate) a response as any other....
