Born 1948, in Moscow.


Viktor Kazarin studied in Sokolov's studio. He graduated from the faculty of painting and graphic art in Moscow. He was one of the founders of Russian Neo-Expressionism. He uses a Tachiste technique that comes close to 'dripping'. His apparently abstract paintings often suggest figures drawn from reality, often animals, involving an element of guesswork, detection, deciphering in the style of a Rorshach test....
