Guingot, Mercédèslocked

Engraver, draughtswoman, collage artist, watercolourist. Religious subjects, nudes, portraits, landscapes, landscapes with figures, animals.

Mercédès Guingot enrolled in the engraving courses run by Jean Delpech, where she learnt dry-point engraving and etching. She showed her works in solo exhibitions, including the Maison du Bailly in Épinal in 1979. She produced several series of works, notably Bathers, and has presented work on the theme of the Dance, the Nude, and the Twelve Signs of the Zodiac.
