Born 1640, in Amsterdam, where he was baptised 2 December; died 1690, buried 20 January.

Engraver, draughtsman, print publisher.

Bloteling was the son of Abraham Blooteling, and possibly the pupil of Cornelis Visscher. He studied under Cornelis van Dalen. In 1676 he journeyed to England, where his works were highly regarded, thereafter returning to Amsterdam. He made his will in 1689 and died the following year. His pupils included Abr.
