Born 1736, in Paris.

Engraver (burin), illustrator.

Pierre Laurent Auvray studied under Laurent Cars and worked in Paris and Basel, Switzerland. He produced several engravings after Fragonard, J. Bertaux, Chevalier Monnet and others. He also produced a number of illustrations for travellers' tales, and exhibited portraits, including those of Préville and of Lamette, the latter after Chevalier Monnet....
